³⁰ “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth^[a] will mourn;^[b] and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.^{(A) 31} He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet,^(B) and they will gather His elect from the four winds,^(C) from one end of the sky to the other.

³² “Now learn this parable^(D) from the fig tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.
